As a recipient of the Certified Estate Signing Professional (CESP) designation, I solemnly affirm my commitment to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ethical integrity, and ceremonial professionalism in the execution of estate signing services.

I acknowledge that the CESP credential represents advanced training and professional responsibility within the estate signing niche. I further acknowledge that this designation does not grant legal authority beyond my state-issued notary commission, and I agree not to misrepresent the nature or scope of this credential.

In accepting this designation, I pledge to:

Uphold the Laws Governing Notarial Practice

I will strictly adhere to all applicable state statutes, administrative rules, and regulatory requirements governing notarial acts in the jurisdictions in which I am commissioned.

Maintain Ethical Integrity

I will conduct myself with honesty, impartiality, and professionalism at all times, avoiding conflicts of interest and refraining from any conduct that could undermine public trust in the notarial office.

Avoid the Unauthorized Practice of Law

I will not provide legal advice, interpret legal documents, or represent myself as qualified to render legal opinions. I will use appropriate redirection language when legal questions arise and will refer signers to qualified legal counsel when necessary.

Conduct Estate Signing Ceremonies with Professional Presence

I will approach each estate signing engagement with solemnity, respect, attentiveness, and neutrality, recognizing that estate documents represent significant personal and legal matters.

Protect Confidential Information

I will safeguard all private, financial, and personal information encountered in the course of estate signing services and will maintain appropriate confidentiality at all times.

Demonstrate Competence and Preparedness

I will maintain structured intake procedures, confirm identification requirements, and ensure all signings are conducted with care, accuracy, and procedural compliance.

Represent the Credential Responsibly

I will accurately describe the Certified Estate Signing Professional designation as a professional training credential awarded by Apex Mentorship™ and will not imply governmental endorsement or licensing authority.

I understand that failure to uphold these standards may result in review and potential revocation of the CESP designation at the discretion of Apex Mentorship™.
